Role

As part of a replacement, you will take on the role of Financial Controller – Player Environment, with the mission of monitoring and steering the club’s financial performance related to player operations.

Missions & Responsibilities

  • Actively contribute to annual and quarterly closings in collaboration with the accounting team for all player-related activities;
  • Manage player payroll in coordination with our external payroll provider;
  • Develop, oversee, and optimise expense and investment budgets for our various sports teams, working closely with operational staff;
  • Model player contracts to anticipate and manage financial impacts;
  • Continuously seek improvements to existing internal control processes.

You will work in a cross-functional capacity, in close collaboration with department heads and budget managers across the club, primarily based at the Robert Louis-Dreyfus Training Center.

Profile Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Auditing or Finance (e.g. Master CCA, Grande École, or equivalent);
  • 3 to 5 years of prior experience in audit or financial controlling;
  • Detail-oriented, organised, methodical, with strong adaptability, analytical skills, and interpersonal abilities;
  • Solid knowledge of accounting and tax fundamentals;
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel;
  • Strong sense of confidentiality and team spirit;
  • Professional proficiency in English;
  • Ability to work in a high-demand environment;
  • Genuine interest in the sports and non-profit sectors.
