Meent is supporting Le Mans Endurance Management, the organizing body of the World Endurance Championship, in recruiting its HR Business Partner on permanent position.

Le Mans Endurance Management (LMEM) was established in 2012 in the Le Mans region of France, an iconic location for endurance motor racing. The company specializes in organizing global motorsport championships, including the FIA World Endurance Championship (FIA WEC), the European Le Mans Series (ELMS), the Michelin Le Mans Cup (MLMC), and the Ligier European Series (LES).

Thanks to its recognized expertise and the quality of its services, LMEM has attracted a prestigious clientele, including major car manufacturers, competing teams, sponsors, and partners. Today, LMEM is firmly established in the world of motorsport and continues to enhance the experience for participants and spectators at its events.

This is a newly created position, part of the ongoing structuring of the teams behind both the World Endurance Championship (WEC) and the European Le Mans Series (ELMS).

The primary objective of this role will initially be to structure all HR processes and establish a framework that supports the deployment of an HR strategy, which the HR Manager will help to define. The HR Manager will report directly to both the General Management and the Operational Management team.

Role

  • Ensure the development and management of human resources in alignment with LMEM’s operational strategy;
  • Support employees and structure HR processes, while addressing human capital challenges to foster a high-performing and fulfilling work environment.

Missions & Responsibilities

  • Design and implement HR policies aligned with the expectations of the ecosystem and operational leadership;
  • Provide generalist HR support and assist leadership in executing HR strategy, in line with LMEM’s structure and activities;
  • Oversee core HR processes (annual reviews, talent management, compensation, labor relations, etc.);
  • Implement and optimize the Risk Assessment Document (DUERP), internal regulations, Employee Representative Bodies (CSE), and GDPR compliance;
  • Work in close partnership with department heads and managers, advising them on all employee relations issues and ensuring HR processes are properly applied within their teams;
  • Support managers and employees on key HR topics (recruitment, training, skills development, career evolution);
  • Advise line managers on policy and procedure in compliance with labor law and corporate policies; ensure proactive people and process management;
  • Promote employee engagement and ensure a legally compliant, motivating work environment;
  • Supervise payroll operations in collaboration with an external provider;
  • Cultivate a company culture based on collaboration, performance, and employee well-being.

Profile Requirements

Skills & Experience

  • 6 to 8 years of experience in Human Resources, ideally within the Sport & Entertainment events industry;
  • Broad HR expertise: recruitment, onboarding, training, career development/mobility, payroll, personnel administration;
  • Solid knowledge of French labor law;
  • Ability to define internal policies and procedures;
  • Proficient with HR software (HRIS, time tracking systems). Familiarity with LUCCA is a plus;
  • Knowledge of HR project management methodologies;
  • Experience in labor relations and social dialogue;
  • Legal knowledge, particularly in labor law, is a plus;
  • Strong IT skills, especially proficiency in Microsoft Office applications;
  • Fluent in both French and English.
